Operations and engineering leader, community leader, with a passion for fashion and style! Over 20 years of high-tech experience, managing global teams in the areas of software development, test, program management, technical marketing, technical documentation, and system releases all driven by a strong sense of customer and field engagement. As Director of Program Development at CFA, she works with employers and educators to develop education and training programs for youth, with the focus on bringing women and under-served communities into tech.
Alka works as a volunteer for a number of local nonprofits and is on the board of Eastside Pathways, where she continues to focus on education and equity.
Alka has a Degree in Leadership for Social Good from Leadership Eastside, a Bachelors degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Smith College, and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire.
