Career Prep is a free training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the tech industry.
To qualify, you must be:
A Washington state resident
A college or technical training program graduate, or a current student within one year of graduating

Through personalized coaching, online modules, and virtual workshops, you will develop professional skills in the following areas:
Navigating the Job Market
Networking, job search strategies, and on-boarding processes.
Marketing & Interview Prep
Personal branding, resume and portfolio building, and interview skills.
Interpersonal Skills
Communication, teamwork, and empathy.
Personal Skills
Self-awareness, self-management, and learning agility.
Career Navigation
Our Career Navigator will guide you every step of the way, from developing a personalized career plan to finding the right job. We’ll be there to support you for up to six months after you’re hired.

What to Expect When You Join Career Prep
Skills Assessment
Once your application is accepted, you’ll receive an invitation to complete an assessment. This will help us evaluate your technical and career readiness skills.
Development Plan
Our Career Navigator will create a Professional Development Plan based on your assessment results.
Career Navigation
You’ll receive an invitation to a virtual meeting with our Career Navigator to review your plan, create short-term goals, and discuss your program track and schedule.
On-boarding
After your meeting, you’ll be asked to complete an on-boarding form to finalize your enrollment in the program.
Program Start
Our Career Navigator will provide you with your Professional Development Plan, workshop schedule, and access to the online learning platform.
