Computing for All’s (CFA) application on behalf of the Washington Tech Workforce Coalition (WTWC) was selected to be the recipient of the Washington Jobs Initiative (WJI) Grant as the Information Technology and Cybersecurity sectoral partnership for Washington State. Our winning proposal with a budget of $4.875 million is to place 1,000 workers in technology roles across Washington State over the next 2 years. CFA will serve as the backbone organization of the statewide technology sector strategic partnership, bringing together partners and subcontractors to contribute to this work.
Today we share the WTWC WJI Request for Proposal (RFP) to launch the procurement process, which will include the requirements and review criteria for selecting Placement Providers. Please contact Michael Gan, Director of Development at Computing for All, for all inquiries at wji@computingforall.org.
We appreciate the participation of all organizations in the development of our strategic plan and creation of our application, including organizations which submitted information via our RFI process. Thank you to all our partners for their efforts in support of the growing Technology sector in Washington State.
