The Washington Tech Workforce Coalition is excited to announce a network of fourteen Placement Providers and Subrecipients that will help launch 1,000 careers in IT and Cybersecurity roles by September 2025. This Coalition is funded by a US Department of Commerce grant to Career Connect Washington and managed by Computing for All as the backbone for a network of Community, Industry, and Education partners.
Selected Placement Providers will provide various services, including community and employer engagement, candidate training, and candidate job placement services. Thank you to all the applicants for the creative programs they are implementing.

Ada Developers Academy
Training and 155 job placements in Software Engineer roles.
Training and 50 job placements in Data Analyst, Software Engineer, Software Test Engineer, Technical Product and Program Manager, User Experience Designer, and Project Manager roles.
Training and 50 job placements in Full Stack Web Developer, Front End Developer, Back End Developer, Network Analyst, Security Analyst, Cloud Engineer, and Cloud Architect roles.
Trainingand 100 job placements in Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester, Web and Digital Interface Designer, Web Developer, Computer Systems Analyst, and Software Developer roles.
Training and 150 placements in IT Help Desk, Network Administrator, Software Developer, Cloud Application Developer, Cloud Support Engineer, IT Project Manager, and Cybersecurity Analyst roles.

These Placement Providers join the Coalition’s Subrecipients (below) involved in strategic efforts to develop outreach and alignment with underserved communities, education, and employers. Collectively, these grant partners build and expand training programs and job placement pipelines across the state.

Create resources and tools that help job seekers find and connect to short-term, industry-aligned education programs at Washington’s community and technical colleges.
Strengthen and develop partnerships, pathways, and career connected learning opportunities to students furthest from opportunity by working as an intermediary for K-12 districts, employers, and CBOs in King and Pierce counties.
Building capacity and expanding course offerings in the North Central WA system through partnerships with schools, colleges, and workforce training providers. 183 job placements in Data Center Operations roles in North Central WA.
Host employer convening events with an audience of hiring managers and recruiters for tech roles within Seattle area companies.
This Coalition is part ofCareer Connect Washington’s Washington Jobs Initiative (WJI) implementation of the federal Good Jobs Challenge (GJC), which aims to bolster priority industries to recover from the COVID pandemic and assist those under-served, underrepresented, and most impacted to establish a Good Job. The Washington Tech Workforce Coalition/Computing for All was selected by the Washington Student Achievement Council to provide 1,000 job placements in IT and Cybersecurity roles across all sectors.
Computing for All (CFA) is a 501(c)(3) technology education nonprofit launched in 2015 to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in the technology workforce. Based in Seattle, with tech education projects throughout Washington State.
